Black Copper Marans

Black Copper Marans are known for their dark chocolate eggs. Marans will ALWAYS lay their darkest eggs at the beginning of a lay cycle. The longer they lay- the lighter the eggs will be. We do not "hold back" the darkest eggs for ourselves. We will ship the eggs that are laid in a 48 hour period. I post tons of pictures of our BCM eggs, usually right after I grab them from the nest boxes on my FB page. Some days they will lay super dark and some days they withhold some of that dark rich ink! Remember, the rooster is 50% of the genetics that will play a role in the egg color. Our Marans are friendly and calm. The Roosters are well behaved and people friendly. Some of our Marans lay a pink bloom. 

Shades of eggs will vary.

We limit each order to a maximum of one dozen hatching eggs of the same breed to ensure fair access across our customer base. Our flock is small and inventory is limited. If you'd like more than a dozen eggs, you're welcome to place separate orders, though we may not be able to fulfill multiple dozens of the same breed within the same week due to availability constraints.

*Once full dozens are sold out- There's a limit 1/2 dozen per order PER breed. Two 1/2 dozens cannot be ordered of the SAME breed.*
